Fished the Shiawassee for about 3.5 hours on Thursday to end the season. What a beautiful day! Tee Shirt most of the time, with sounds of T-Storms in the distance, but none came near us.
Lots of boats, but not a lot of catching. Most boats were reporting 1 or 2 or none. I got these two nice females, another that was just legal but put back and one good hookup that came undone. My buddy had one on and a couple of bumps, but was given a 22" male at the dock.
Great way to end the season - now it's time to start on the Bay.

| Jaybe, I fished up there all day myself. 1 4 lb. eye and a nice smallie. Great day to end the river season. Too bad I just have a River boat or I would play the bay game. Oh well, wait till she opens back up. |
